Fire Service Visit Report
The Cadets had a fantastic time during the recent visit by the Fire Service from West Bridgford station. Thanks to Sub Officer Brian Marshall and the rest of the crew for coming down to our HQ.
Two huge engines arrived around 7pm and Cadets were immediately set a task of assembling the equipment and building a water reservoir. The exercise entailed reeling out the hoses and ladders and using plastic sheeting to build a reservoir.
Of course cadets did get a little wet during the evening as the pictures below show!
After packing away the gear our Cadets had the opportunity to sit in the cab then the engines left with a short display of ‘blues and twos’ as the headed back to the station.
