Gala Evening at Candleby Lane School Cotgrave
The event was organised by one of our Cadet’s mothers so it was natural that members of the squadron would be asked to serve the cocktails and canapes. The Gala was a celebration of the Candleby Lane Enterprise and Skills Curriculum (CLESC) in which the children of primary school age devote
their Friday afternoons developing business or enterprise skills. On display and for sale were a number of extremely attractive items of hand-made jewellery, sculpture, photography, art and decoupage cards all made by the children.
