RAF 90th Aniversary

Red Arrows fly past the Eye Events have been taking place around the UK to celebrate 90 years since the formation of the Royal Air Force. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sir Glenn Torpy joined dignitaries and serving military and civilian personnel outside the MOD’s headquarters building on London’s Victoria Embankment. The assembled crowds watched a spectacular fly-past by the world famous Red Arrows, who flew in formation with four Typhoon aircraft along the River Thames to the London Eye giving Londoners the chance to see the fly-past, the first time this has been done.
