Walk This Sunday - Warm Clothing Required!
Don’t forget that it’s the Squadron walk starting at Plungar Church at 0930 this Sunday 18th. The forecast is for icy cold weather conditions so please wear sensible clothing. Ideally lots of layers with a windproof and waterproof cagoule. Don’t forget gloves and wear a hat as most of your body heat is lost through the head.
Check-list:
Walking boots, two pairs socks (thin under, thick over), waterproof trousers, waterproof coat/cagoule over fleece and other layers, food and drink, snacks for during the walk, map, consent form/letter, bin liner for muddy boots, hat, gloves, scarf, map case, compass, whistle.
