2425 Squadron entered an impressive 4 teams (20 Cadets) into the Notts County Council ‘Shadow’ event that took place at Sherwood Forest over the weekend. The competition actually takes place in the forest itself throughout the night and comprises several navigation/Orienteering exercises. Around 125 teams from various youth groups take part in the event each year. The event started at 10pm on Saturday evening and ended at 5am Sunday morning! Luckily the organisers laid on a good breakfast for the Cadets at the end of the event. The Council laid on some interesting challenges for the teams that involved various agencies and the emergency services. Deservedly Cadets received a certificate at the end of the event. Well done to all of those that took part.
