Warma March Report

WARMA logo

Today two teams from 2425 Squadron successfully completed the annual WARMA March. This year 11 teams, mainly teams of Air Cadets, took part in the 11km, 18km and 30km circular walks that started at Woodhall Spa in the Lincolnshire countryside. Woodhall Spa has long association with the RAF and was home of the famous Dambusters during WWII.

Our two teams took part in the 18km and 30km walks.

The weekend started with the setting up of the camp on Saturday afternoon and then free time to have a look around the area and get some food. Luckily the weather stayed fine over Saturday night for the campers but it was a little bit cold.

On Sunday the Marchers set off at around 9am returning around 4pm to collect their medals and then break camp and return home to rest those weary limbs!

See our Gallery for photos of the march.
