The Parkers Go 'That Extra Mile'
On Saturday 22 September 2425 (Nottingham Airport) Squadrons’ WO Larry Parker and CI Marilyn Parker were invited guests of Councillor Carol Pepper and Councillor Reg Adair at County Hall for the Annual Community Celebration.

This event is held to recognise and thank people who go that extra mile to support their local community. This year 69 people from across the county were recognised for their contributions to the County.
Larry and Marilyn have been members of the Air Training Corps and supporters of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal for more than 10 years. They spend a lot of time supporting their local church, several village organisations and older people in the community.
They were welcomed by Councillor Adair and his wife and after afternoon tea escorted on a tour of County Hall which included visiting the Council Chamber, Assembly Hall, Civic Suite and the County Emergency Planning Centre.
